What a fantastic purchase experience! My order arrived right on schedule, and the communication was top-notch. The tree is robust and in great shape, plus they included helpful planting tips and info. The delivery guy was super nice and really helpful. Huge thanks! Not many companies offer such a stellar service, so I’d definitely recommend them.

We had a really bad time with CVT. Initially, we were told to go with them for our hedge removal because, sure, the trees cost a pretty penny, but their expertise and aftercare were supposed to make it worth it. We ended up spending about £10,000 on trees and their planting advice. But just weeks later, one of the main trees lost its leaves, and they said it was 'normal.' They assured us that as long as we followed their watering tips, everything would be alright. Fast forward a year, and some of the trees still looked pretty sickly. Again, we were told this was just how it goes and that we should use bonemeal (which we did), keep watering (which we’ve done since day one), and maybe prune to help them grow (but we didn’t, since the only leaves left were at the tips of the branches). Another year passed, and nothing got better. They insisted that nothing was wrong with the trees they planted, claiming it was either our fault for not following their advice (even though we used their planting map and their team did the planting) or because we didn’t prune (which was just a suggestion). I’m not looking for miracles, but once those plants were in the ground, they showed zero care. We’ve thrown away £10k on trees that just haven’t worked out. Every time we reached out, they blamed us, and despite being local, they never even bothered to come check out the issues themselves. We really wish we had gone with another company to save some cash.

I just received a 15-year-old Magnolia ‘Susan’ that was planted by two fantastic guys from Chew Valley Trees, and I couldn't be happier.

The tree showed up right on schedule. It was packed nicely for shipping and there were no issues with the branches or buds. The shape was lovely, and it was at the taller end of the height range mentioned, which I really liked. They also included a detailed guide for planting and care. Excellent value for the money. I’d definitely order from this company again.

We headed to the nursery on a chilly, blustery day to pick out our tree. Just yesterday, two staff members came over and expertly planted and secured the tree - it looks really sharp.
